Title IX Hearing Officers

The training requirements and responsibilities of Title IX hearing officers (also known as decision-makers) are extensive.

Our independent hearing officers have the ability to objectively evaluate evidence, determine relevance, conduct hearings, and issue written determinations in a prompt, equitable, and impartial manner.

Informal Resolution Facilitators

Various forms of informal resolution such as mediation, arbitration, and restorative justice provide parties an alternative to the formal Title IX hearing. However, an informal resolution is not synonymous with an unprofessional resolution.

Our independent informal resolution facilitators are career mediators and arbitrators, trained in Title IX, and capable of remaining impartial during the informal resolution process.
