Release of the 2024 Title IX Regulations
April 19, 2024 – New Title IX Regulations Released by Department of Education
Notice: New Title IX Rule Released
The Department of Education has released its Final Rule under Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, which prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex in education programs or activities receiving federal financial assistance.
The Final Rule will be effective on August 1, 2024, and will apply to to complaints of sex discrimination regarding alleged conduct that occurs on or after that date.
